Quote

Uthman ibn `Affan said: I heard Allah's Messenger say: "Verily, I know a phrase which no servant utters truthfully from his heart except the Fire is made unlawful for him." `Umar ibn al-Khattab said: "I shall tell you what that phrase is. It is the kalima of sincerity with which Allah has empowered Muhammad and his Companions, the kalima of fear of Allah which Allah's Prophet enjoined upon his uncle Abu Talib on his deathbed: the witnessing that there is no god but Allah." Ahmad related it in his Musnad (1:63 #449).

Those Articles that are in Four

Angels : Angels are those creations of Almighty Allah that are created from Noor (light) and are sinless and pure. They are neither male nor female. Allah has blessed them with the power to take the form that they wish. They have been appointed individual duties by Almighty Allah. They only act on the Command of Almighty Allah. To refute the existence of Angels, or to show disrespect to them, is Kufr. Almighty Allah knows the true population of the Malaa'ikah. From among the Malaa'ikah, four of them are very famous. They are Hazrat Jibra'il, Hazrat Mika'il, Hazrat Israfeel and Hazrat Isra'il (alaihimus salaam) and from amongst them Hazrat Jibra'il (alaihis salaam) is the most superior.

Books of Allah : Almighty Allah revealed various Heavenly books and Sahifas to many Ambiya, for the guidance of the people. All the Heavenly Books and Sahifas are Haqq. It is essential to bring Imaan on the Kitaabs revealed by Almighty Allah. This, however, does not refer to the abridged versions of the books that were changed by the people. From amongst the Heavenly books, four are very famous, They are the Taurah, Zuboor, Injeel and the Holy Quran. The Quran from amongst these four books is the most excellent and cannot be changed. It is the Final Book of Allah.

Nabis of Allah : Nabis are the chosen servants of Almighty Allah. All the Nabis differ in status and it is an accepted fact that all the Prophets have received Prophethood through the Sadaqah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). In reality, the entire creation has been created for the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Nabi of Nabis and the Rasool of all Rasools. He is Khatimun Nabiyeen, Rahmatulil Alameen and Imam-ul-Ambiya. The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the most superior of all Prophets. After him, there are four famous Nabis. They are, Hazrat Ibraheem Khaleelullah, Hazrat Moosa Kaleemullah, Hazrat Esa Roohul'lah and Hazrat Nooh Naji'ullah (Alaihimus Salaam). These four, with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), are known as "Mursaleen Ulul Azm".

Fundamental Duties : After accepting and believing in Tauheed and Risaalat, there are four other important fundamental duties of a Muslim. They are Namaaz, Fasting (Saum), Zakaat and Hajj. These are the basic pillars of Islam after accepting the faith. From amongst these four fundamental duties, Namaaz is accepted to be the most superior duty. To refute any one of them is Kufr and to leave them intentionally is a great sin.

Basis of Shari'ah : The source of Islamic Shari'ah and laws of Islam are based on four principles. They are the Holy Quran, Hadith, I'jma-e-Ummah (Consensus of the Ummah) and Qiyaas (Theoretic Comparison). The Muslims Jurists have used these four principles as the basis of giving Islamic Verdicts. From amongst these four, the Holy Quran is given first preference.

Namaaz : In Namaaz there are four basic positions:- Qiyaam, Ruku, Sajdah and Qaadah. If any one of these are omitted, then the Namaaz will be null and void. From these four positions, Sajdah is the most important.

Wudu : To perform Namaaz, Wudu (ablution) is necessary. Without Wudu, there is no Namaaz. There are four Fardh in Wudu without which, the Wudu will not be complete. The Fardh actions are:-

  1. To wash the face - which is from the forehead till the chin and from one ear to the other ear, once.

  2. To wash both the arms till the elbows, once.

  3. To make Masah of at least a quarter of the head. By quarter  is meant 4 fingers width.

  4. To wash the feet till the ankles, once.

Sahaba-e-Kiraam : Sahaba-e-Kiraam are those blessed persons, who with the eyes of Imaan, saw the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). All the Sahaba-e-Kiraam are Mu'min and all will go to Jannah. From the Ummah of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), the Sahaba are the most excellent. It is Waajib for every Muslim to respect and keep them in high esteem. No matter how great a Saint, Ghaus or Qutb one may be, one cannot reach the status of a Sahabi-e-Rasool.

Even among the Sahaba, some of them are more excellent in status than others. After the Ambiya, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) holds the greatest status, then Sayyiduna Umar-e-Farouk, Hazrat Usman-e-Ghani and Hazrat Ali-e-Murtaza (radi Allahu anhumul ajma'in). After these Khulafa-e-Raashideen come the rest of the Ash-harah Mubasharah (those who were given glad tidings of Jannah by the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), then Hazrat Hasnain Karimain, Ashaab-e-Badr, Ashaab-e-Baitur Ridwaan. All of them will go to Jannah. For any person to insult or think ill of any Sahabi is a sin. Such a person is misled and will go to Jahannum (Hell). Any person who says that Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) is more excellent than Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) is Gumrah and to disrespect these great Sahaba is a great sin and to refute their Khilaafah is Kufr. This is the way of the misled Shi'ite Sect. From the Ummah, the first to enter Jannah will be Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu).

Four Imaams : After Huzoor (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), the Sahaba-e-Kiraam and the Taabi'in, the most excellent are the four Imams of the Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamaat. They are such great Imams that they are known as "Mujtahideen Fi Shara". They are Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa, Imam Maalik, Imam Shafi'i and Imam Ahmed bin Hambal (radi Allahu anhumul ajma'in). Today, Muslims throughout the world follow the Taqleed of the these four Imams. In the Masa'ile Furoo'iya, there is no other fourth Madhab. The difference of opinion of the four Imams is only in the laws of Furoo' (actions) and not in beliefs (Aqaa'id). The followers of the four Madhabs are commonly known as Hanafi, Maaliki, Shafi'i and Hambali. From amongst them, the most superior is Hazrat Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa (radi Allahu anhu). It is the most famous Madhab in the world.

Wilaayah : Wilaayah is a status given to those who have gained a special spiritual closeness to Almighty Allah. This status is given by Almighty Allah to certain of his chosen pious servants. Any ignorant and Cult Sect (Wahabi, Shi'ite, etc;) can never be a Saint. From the Awliyah of all the Ummah, the greatest Awliyah are from the Ummah of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). From the Awliyah-e-Ummat-e-Muhammadi, the most superior Awliyah are the Four Khulafa, namely Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Uthman and Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) and then all the Sahaba-e-Kiraam. All the Sahaba are also Awliyah. The source of the blessing for the Awliyah after these is Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu). In other words, they are all blessed with Wilayah through the blessing of Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu).

Cleansing of the heart and to accept and follow the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) physically and spiritually and to follow the commands of Shari'ah is known as "Tassawuf". Tassawuf is a way of action which is a spiritual facet of Shari'ah. Tariqah is never separate from Shari'ah. Such a person who say that Shari'ah and Tariqah are separate is misled and ignorant. One who helps you to walk on the path of Shari'ah and Tariqah is known as a Peer-o-Murshid and Sheikh. One who walks on this path and follows this pious person is known as a Mureed (disciple). It is of great benefit to become a Mureed and is worthy of much blessing. One should only become Mureed of that person who is a proper Sunni with the proper knowledge of Shari'ah and whose actions do not contradict the Shari'ah. His Silsila (link) should be to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and he should have Khilaafah from his Sheikh.

There are four famous Silsilas (Spiritual Orders) in the world of Spiritualism. "Qaaderiyah", whose Imam is Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jilani (radi Allahu anhu), "Chishtiyah", whose Sheikh is Hazrat Khwaja Mu'eenudeen Chishti (radi Allahu anhu), "Suharwardiyah", whose Sheikh is Hazrat Khwaja Shahabudeen Suharwardi (radi Allahu anhu) and "Naqshabandiyah", whose Sheikh is Hazrat Khwaja Baha'udeen Naqshbandi (radi Allahu anhu). Although there is a slight difference in the Wazaa'if recited by the different Silsilas, but their Markaz (source) is the Shari'at-e-Islami. To follow the Quran and the Hadith is the real aim of each one of them. Islam is one huge sea, and these four Silsilas are it's rivers. From these four Silsilas' Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qaadir Jilani (radi Allahu anhu) is very great.

The Awliyah are blessed with great powers. They have been blessed by Almighty Allah with the power to assist others. To see them and serve them is worthy of great Sawaab (reward). Du'as are accepted through their mediation. The Awliyah are alive in their graves, and to go to their graves for Ziyaarah is permissible. It is however Haraam to make Sajdah or Tawaaf of any Mazaar. To make the Urs and Niaz of the Awliyah, such as Giyarwee Shareef, etc., is permissible and worthy of Sawaab. Any person who rejects the Awliyah Allah and their Karamaat is misled.

Musjid : The place most loved by Allah on the earth is a Musjid (Place of Worship of Allah). The Musjid is the House of Allah and not the belonging or property of any individual. In the Holy Quran and the Hadith, the of building Masaajid has been given much excellence. The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has stated that whosoever builds a Musjid in this world, Allah will construct for him a house in Jannah. It is very essential for Muslims to respect the Musjid. To read Namaaz in the Musjid rather than in a house or any other place is twenty five times more Sawaab. To speak of worldly affairs in the Musjid is disallowed. It is also not allowed to scream and shout inside the Musjid. It is not permissible for just any person to eat and sleep in the Musjid without the Niyyah of I'tikaf. It is Haraam for a Na-paak (impure) person to go into the Musjid. To make Namaaz-e-Janazah in the actual Musjid is Makrooh-e-Tahreemi.

To go into the Musjid after eating anything with a foul odour is not desirable. The mouth must be washed before entering the Musjid. To sell or buy inside the Musjid or to do business transactions inside the Musjid is not allowed. It is not allowed to leave the Musjid after Azaan without reason. There are many large and small Masaajid in the entire world, but certain Musjids have been given status over others. The most excellent Musjid is the Musjid-e-Haraam, then Musjid-e-Nabawi Shareef, Musjid-e-Aqsa and finally the first Mosque of Islam Musjid-e-Quba. However, the Roza-e-Anwar of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is even more exalted than the Arsh. The Kaaba is the Qibla-e-Ibaadah, and the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Qibla-e-Muhabbat. The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the "Kaaba of the Kaaba". It is advisable to read the Durood Shareef before entering and leaving the Musjid. Enter the Musjid with the right foot and leave with the left foot.
